US Ranks #13 Worldwide in Energy Efficiency
According to recent data compiled by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy, the United States ranks 13th out of 16 countries in energy efficiency. Germany tops the list as the most energy efficient country, with Italy a close 2nd. Overall, the report card shows that no country is doing everything it can to maximize energy efficiency, and there is much room for improvement across the globe.
The council goes on to suggest several measures the U.S. government could undertake to strengthen the country’s energy efficiency efforts.
